The delivery on Thursday, April 16, saw 4,000 N95 masks and 1,000 FFP2 masks donated to Credit Valley and Mississauga hospitals.
“It is time to stand up and offer everything we can to help,” said Liao Haixue, the co-ordinator of the donation campaign.
“We all need to stay strong and be united. We are proud that engineering professionals rise up to the challenges, and we will go through this tough time all together.”
While witnessing the urgent needs of hospitals, the group came together and raised $100,000 to help secure masks, face shields, gloves and boot covers.
