Canadian Structural Engineers Association (CSEA) Scholarship

Application Requirements - 2025

 

The Canadian Structural Engineers Association (CSEA) is pleased to offer scholarships to outstanding Canadian high school graduates who are first year university students in an Engineering program in Canada. 

 

These scholarships aim to recognize academic excellence, community involvement, and a passion for engineering. Successful recipients will be formally recognized and presented with their awards at CSEA’s Annual Event in November 2025.

 

Scholarship category - 2025 

• One (1) Platinum:  $500 

• Two (2) Golden:  $300 each

• Two (2) Silver:  $200 each

 

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, applicants must:

• Complete the online application form 

• Have graduated from a high school in Canada in 2025.

• Have applied and been accepted to an Engineering program in a Canadian University 

• Be a CSEA member or an immediate family member of a CSEA member.  

 

Evaluation Criteria

Applicants will be evaluated based on:

• Academic Excellence (70%).

• Innovation and Contributions, Extracurricular Activities, and Community Involvement (15%)

• Involvement in CSEA Activities (15%)

 

Submission Deadline

All completed applications, official transcripts, and reference letters must be received no later than Thursday, November 6, 2025

 

Application Requirements

Your submission must include:

• Current resume includes your brief personal introduction, description of your career goals and a statement explaining why you deserve this scholarship.

• Grade 12 transcripts 

• Proof of enrollment for the Fall term (confirmation from the university registrar or timetable).

• A summary of awards, achievements, and significant activities (e.g., community service, leadership roles, etc.) and scanned copies of awards or certificates.

• Tell your story: Use a clear theme to highlight your passion for engineering.

• Show your personality: Be authentic, confident, and engaging.

• Be creative: Use examples and personal anecdotes to make your submission memorable.

• Make it personal: Let your enthusiasm and dedication shine through.

 

Final Reminder

Completed applications must be submitted by Thursday, November 6, 2025, to be considered for this year’s awards.
